Why should I book directly with ALPS RESORTS?

At ALPS RESORTS you always book at the best price! As a direct booker, you benefit from our best price guarantee and personal advice.

How do I find the perfect ALPS RESORT for my vacation?

Just browse through our resort overview on our website and get inspired. Simply filter by category, vacation region and other criteria to find out more about the resort in question.

Can I receive a non-binding offer?

Of course. Send us a non-binding inquiry using our form. We will take care of your message as quickly as possible and advise you individually.

Is my desired accommodation available?

On our booking page, select your arrival and departure dates as well as the region/resort and the number of people. This will display all available accommodation in the selected period.

Can I make a non-binding reservation for accommodation and book it later?

A non-binding reservation is not possible.

Is there a minimum stay?

Yes, the minimum stay varies by resort and season. You will be informed of this on our booking page for the respective accommodation.

How many people can move into the accommodation?

You can find this information on our website at the respective resort or on our booking page at the respective accommodation.

Will I receive a booking confirmation?

After we have checked your booking, you will receive a confirmation from us. Please note that this may take some time.

How can I change my personal data after booking?

Please send your booked resort an email with the desired changes and the following information about your booking:

  • Booking number
  • First and last name
  • Date of arrival and departure
  • Accommodation

You will find this information and the email address of your ALPS RESORT in the booking confirmation.

What payment options are available?

You can make all payments before your arrival either by credit card or by transferring the amount to our account. Payments on site, such as the deposit, are made by credit card (authorization required).

Do I have to pay the full price when booking?

No, you only need to pay a deposit when you book. Further information can be found in your booking confirmation or on our booking page at the respective accommodation.

What is included in the price?

The total price includes the rental costs for the accommodation and additional costs. The mandatory additional costs include final cleaning, overnight stay tax, laundry set and deposit.

You will be informed on our booking page about what needs to be paid directly online and on arrival on site (e.g. deposit).

How many people are included in the price?

You can find this information on our website at the respective resort or on the booking page at the respective accommodation.

Do I have to pay anything on site?

You will be informed at the respective accommodation on our booking page about what still needs to be paid on site (e.g. deposit).

If you have booked your vacation with a tour operator or travel portal, please note the general terms and conditions of your provider.

When will I get my deposit back?

We will retain a deposit on your arrival for any damage caused. After your departure, our team will check the accommodation for any damage. If everything is in order, you will receive the full deposit back. Depending on the resort, this can take up to 15 days after your departure. The amount of the deposit and the duration of the refund can be found on our booking page at the respective accommodation.

If damage occurs during your stay, we will retain part or all of the deposit (depending on the severity of the damage). Please inform us of any damage on site.

How can I redeem discount codes and gift vouchers?

You can easily enter discount codes in the field provided during the booking process. The discount will be deducted immediately.

On which days can I arrive and depart?

The arrival and departure days vary depending on the resort and season. You will be informed of this on our booking page.

How late can I check in and out?

You can find this information on our booking page at the respective accommodation or in your booking confirmation.

Is a later or earlier check-in/check-out possible?

Please contact your booked or desired resort. You will find the e-mail address of your ALPS RESORT in your booking confirmation. Alternatively, you can also use our form and leave us a message.

Where do I get the key for my accommodation?

You will find this information in your booking confirmation.

Is there a reception desk on site?

In most resorts you will find a reception directly on site. Otherwise, the nearest ALPS reception is only a few minutes' drive away.

What documents do I need to check in?

You will need a valid identity card to check in.

Where can I find the address and directions to the resort?

You will find the address in your booking confirmation and on our website at the respective resort.

Where can I find details about my accommodation?

You can find details about your accommodation, such as facilities or number of rooms, on the respective accommodation on our booking page.

For an initial overview, we also recommend that you take a look at the resort on our website: Simply select the desired resort and click on the desired accommodation.

Is a crib and/or high chair available?

Yes, if required you are welcome to rent a crib (incl. bed linen set) and/or a high chair during the booking process or directly on site.

Are children's playgrounds available in the resorts?

Some resorts have a children's playground directly on site. Many other resorts have a playground in the surrounding area.

Does my accommodation have a parking lot?

Each accommodation has at least 1 parking space. Please note that in some resorts parking spaces are not free of charge.

How do I find accommodation with a pool and/or sauna?

Is the pool in my accommodation heated?

With a few exceptions, all pools are heated. You can find details on the respective accommodation on our booking page or on the page of the respective resort.

Who can I contact if I have concerns or problems on site?

Our reception staff will be happy to help you with any problems, concerns or questions! You can find the address, telephone number and email address of reception in your booking confirmation or on our website at the respective resort.

What do I have to consider during my vacation at ALPS RESORTS?

Please be considerate of our other guests and observe the public quiet times throughout the resort. Parties are not permitted in our resorts. You can find more information on this in the house rules of your accommodation.

Can you recommend any excursion destinations?

Our on-site reception team will be happy to advise you and tell you about exciting attractions and the odd insider tip. We have also summarized excursion tips for you on our website - both on the page of the respective resort and the holiday region.

Are all accommodations self-catering?

All ALPS RESORTS vacation homes, chalets and apartments have a fully equipped kitchen. Some resorts also have a restaurant directly on the premises or partner businesses in the immediate vicinity.

Can I book my vacation with breakfast or half board?

Is there a restaurant at the resort?

Some resorts have a restaurant directly on site or partner businesses in the immediate vicinity. On our resort overview you can filter for resorts with a restaurant.

Can my accommodation be booked with breakfast service/bread roll service?

Some ALPS RESORTS offer a breakfast service or bread roll service. In the region around Schladming, you can place your order online: Order bread rolls

How can I change or cancel my booking?

For direct bookings:
Please send an email to your booked resort with the following information about your reservation:

  • Booking number
  • First and last name
  • Date of arrival and departure
  • Accommodation

When booking via external platforms (e.g. booking.com, airbnb.com):

What cancellation conditions must be observed?

Please note that the conditions vary depending on the season and location.

Do you also offer travel insurance?

Thanks to our cooperation with European Travel Insurance, you are protected at special conditions in the event of cancellation or curtailment of your trip. You can conveniently book the insurance here.

Can my vacation be booked with ski passes?

At the moment, a vacation at ALPS RESORTS cannot be booked with ski passes.

Does my accommodation have a ski room?

Many resorts have storage facilities for skis. You can find details about the facilities at your accommodation on our website at the respective resort and on our booking page. Or send us a contact request - we'll be happy to help you!

How do I find dog-friendly ALPS RESORTS?

Filter for dog-friendly resorts on our Resort overview or select the "Pets allowed" feature on our booking page.

How many dogs are welcome per accommodation?

Please contact the desired resort via our form, thank you.

Does my dog have to be chipped?

Your dog needs a microchip identification to enter Austria. We also recommend taking your dog's European pet passport including proof of vaccination (especially rabies) with you.

Are there any additional costs for my vacation with a dog?

Yes, there are small additional costs per pet and day. These are included in the total price when booking directly via our booking page.

Important: It is not permitted to arrive with a dog without prior notification at the time of booking.

Are bowls and dog beds available?

You are welcome to borrow bowls and blankets from our dog-friendly resorts. For more information, please contact your booked or desired resort.
