At the Styrian FerienPark Kreischberg, a culinary welcome package also awaits your companion. Although most dogs love driving, it's good for them to take a break after their arrival. After an initial sniff at reception, your dog will find the ideal retreat to rest and relax in the spacious vacation homes and apartments with green areas. Bowls and blankets can be borrowed from reception.

While we offer bowls and blankets at our dog-friendly resorts, most dogs feel more comfortable with their usual utensils in a foreign environment. And don't forget, your dog needs a microchip identification to enter Austria, so you can set off on your well-deserved vacation with the following items in your luggage:

To make your vacation enjoyable for everyone, we have a few recommendations for your vacation with your dog.
- Leash requirement: Please keep your dogs on a leash to ensure the safety of all guests and avoid conflicts with other dogs.
- Muzzle requirement: In certain areas such as the restaurant or public transport, dogs should wear a muzzle to avoid unpredictable reactions.
- Clean up after your dog: Please clean up after your dog immediately and always carry poop bags with you.
- Observe quiet times: Dog owners should observe the quiet times at night and at midday.
- Vaccination record: Dog owners should carry their dog's vaccination record with them and ensure that all required vaccinations are up to date.
- Access to certain areas: Dogs are only allowed in designated areas of the resort or vacation complex, such as special dog zones or certain walking paths.
- Feeding and grooming: Dog owners are responsible for regular feeding, grooming, adequate exercise and hydration of their dog.Liability insurance: It is advisable to have valid liability insurance for your dog to cover possible damage.Consideration: Dog owners are asked to be considerate of other guests who may be afraid of or allergic to dogs.
- Hygiene: Please keep dogs away from beds or upholstered furniture. Wellness facilities are not intended for refreshing dogs. Dirt in the accommodation should be removed, and if subsequent cleaning is necessary, this will be charged for.

What should I pay particular attention to
ALPS RESORTS makes no distinction between dog breeds. All dog breeds are welcome here, but we would like to draw your attention to the following points, as there are specific regulations and laws in Austria regarding the keeping and transportation of dog breeds classified as dangerous. These regulations may vary from state to state.
General regulations on so-called "listed dogs"
- Breeds: Certain dog breeds such as Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, Bull Terriers and Rottweilers are classified as "dangerous dogs" throughout Austria.
- Muzzle and leash requirement: Leashes or muzzles are mandatory throughout Austria. There may be municipal regulations where both are required.
- Dog license: Some federal states, such as Vienna, require owners of dangerous dog breeds to have a dog license. In other federal states, a certificate of competence is sufficient: a special permit is often required to keep these dogs, which is issued after a behavioral test of the dog.
