Saunas on vacation in a vacation home: healthy & revitalizing

Whether it's a spacious vacation home or a luxurious vacation apartment in Austria - relax in your own sauna in a private atmosphere. Simply lean back and enjoy the warmth on your skin and do something good for your body, mind and soul. Saunas have always been considered healthy. No wonder, as it strengthens your immune system, promotes blood circulation and has been proven to reduce stress. This in turn has a positive effect on your psyche. Saunas also help to purify the body and improve the appearance of your skin. You should take advantage of all these positive properties for maximum relaxation and well-being during your time out at ALPS RESORTS.

Sauna in summer? Yes, of course!

Back from the ski slopes, a sauna session on cold winter days is a particularly obvious choice. However, you should also use the private sauna in your vacation home or apartment in summer. Especially after a hike or a long bike ride, your body needs a little time out to recover from the day's exertions. The private sauna in your vacation home or apartment is the perfect place for this. The heat relaxes your muscles, strains heal faster and sore muscles are kept to a minimum the next day. Active holidaymakers in particular appreciate this healing effect.

Holiday homes & vacation apartments with Finnish sauna or infrared sauna

Our ALPS RESORTS in Austria are mainly equipped with Finnish saunas and infrared cabins. While regular infusions heat up the air in the classic sauna, infrared rays gently warm the body from the inside out. The Finnish sauna also has higher temperatures of 80-100 °C, which shortens the sauna session to 10-15 minutes. In the infrared cabin, on the other hand, you can sit or lie down and relax for 20-25 minutes at 45-60 °C. Whether you opt for a vacation home with a Finnish sauna or a vacation apartment with an infrared sauna - both are equally healthy and beneficial.

Take a sauna properly: heat is followed by cooling down

The only important thing is that you cool down after your sauna session so that your blood vessels contract again. In winter, this is very easy: go out onto the balcony of your vacation apartment and enjoy the fresh air - you will also be rewarded with a wonderful view of the Alpine landscape. Or you can rub yourself down Finnish-style with the snow lying outside your vacation home. The cold shower afterwards is a must all year round. It is particularly refreshing and is the crowning glory of every sauna visit.
