The 2,032 m high Brechhorn mountain is one of the most popular hiking destinations around Westendorf in Brixental Valley. On the way there, you will pass the Kreuzjöchlsee lake

Start at the valley station of the Alpenrosenbahn cable car in Westendorf, which takes you up to an altitude of 1,700 m. Follow the forest path, which first leads you to the Hohe Salve reservoir and then to the Salvensee. A little further on, you will reach the Jordan Chapel and from here the Filzalmsee in Brixen, including a water playground and adventure stations. For even more fun and games, take the so-called giant trail to Hochsöll to the "Hexenwasser" mountain adventure world. The theme park is popular with both young and old visitors and invites you to discover and explore.
