Guest Mobility Ticket
free travel Throughout Salzburger Land
Your car gets to take a bit of a break as well! As of May 2025, when you check into your accommodations in the Salzburg region, you will automatically receive the Guest Mobility Ticket. This lets you use all public transportation in your selected holiday region for free.
What is the Guest Mobility Ticket?
The Guest Mobility Ticket is your "free travel ticket" for all public transport during your vacation in Salzburger Land - valid from arrival to departure. The Guest Mobility Ticket is financed via the mobility tax, which you pay per overnight stay in Salzburger Land in the same way as the local tax.
These connections are included for you with the ticket:
- Regional bus services & regional trains
- Long-distance trains & city transport
- S-Bahn & micro public transport

Where can you get the Guest Mobility Ticket?
Every guest staying in Salzburg province receives the Guest Mobility Ticket directly from their accommodation provider. It will be issued to you at check-in either as a paper ticket or in an eco-friendly digital format. If you already completed pre-check-in before leaving home, you can even use it for your journey to the region.
